Embracing Modular Innovation in Construction

Modernising education

Modernising the delivery of offsite and modular construction

Offsite and modular methods of construction have proven to be cleaner, safer and more productive than traditional methods.

The EMIC-GEM project is predicated on sharing best practice across Europe within the field of OSM education.

Moving to greater use of offsite construction is the only way the UK can meet its current housing challenges, but we need a workforce who has the skills and knowledge to do this. Working on a shared approach with education providers across Europe gives us the chance to transform the skills agenda at scale. Rohan Bush

Funded by the Erasmus Plus programme, EMIC-GEM is led by City of Glasgow College together with BE-ST and partners from Spain, Germany, Austria, Slovenia and the UK.
