Through the Retrofit Scotland programme, BE-ST provides training, community convening and consultancy for the retrofit community in Scotland to make retrofit possible at scale, and build a future where it is more affordable, reliable and accessible to everyone in Scotland.

Hands-on retrofit training and theory.

Equip yourself and your team with a fundamental understanding of retrofit theory and practical approaches to scale impact across Scotland - delivered in partnership with universities, colleges and training providers.

Let’s retrofit together.

Take part in an annual programme of events, workshops and coworking days to support a community of retrofit practitioners. Our programme for 2025 will be announced by December 2024.

Hire space to turn ideas into action.

Access a growing ‘hub-and-spoke' network of flexible co-working, workshop, training, prototyping and events spaces across Scotland – including BE-ST's National Retrofit Accelerator Lab in Hamilton and Civic House in Glasgow. [P

Turning research into action.

Retrofit Scotland builds on 10-years of research into best practice. We are now ready to turn this knowledge into action by connecting academic, industry partners, local authorities and housing associations to tackle retrofit challenges at scale.
