Paul Dodd

Head of Infrastructure Technology, Scottish Future Trust

Paul has been involved in a variety of public and private sector construction projects which have ranged in terms of value, procurement and complexity. His current role is to lead a national digital change programme within the construction sector through supporting the public sector implement Building Information Modelling (BIM).



Paul has also led on various initiatives to support procurement, asset management and outcomes within public sector infrastructure. As well as the BIM Programme for Scotland, Paul has managed the delivery of the Community Infrastructure Benchmark Database, the Whole Life Appraisal Tool for the Built Environment and the Community Benefit Toolkit for Construction. 

 

Paul began his career as a quantity surveyor and delivered cost management services within an international construction consultancy. In Aug 2012, Paul joined SFT to provide commercial expertise within the Hub Programme which is Scotlands £1.3bn community infrastructure construction programme.
