Andrew Agapiou

Senior Lecturer in Architecture, University of Strathclyde

Andrew is a Senior Lecturer in Architecture, University of Strathclyde. He has over 80 high-impact publications in the areas of integrated Architecture-Engineering-Construction Interfaces and ICT supported collaborative technologies. Andrew has undertaken research in the Built Environment Visualization in the UK and Australia and is recognised for his expertise in technology-enhanced learning within the Architecture field. Recently, Andrew was the Co-lead on AFRC-funded research project focusing on the development of on-demand simulation models for managing major project programmes through hybrid application of building information modelling and image processing. He was the Lead Academic Partner on a CSIC-funded project on the development of a remote building verification platform, combining image processing, VR and BIM technologies.   Andrew is a Director & Trustee of the Architects Professional Examination Authority Scotland and the Glasgow Building Preservation Trust.
