Oliver Cooney and CALA Group have worked with many of our Masters students over the last few years, on topics including the embodied carbon of various load bearing structures, and the benefits, challenges and opportunities in using BIM in various construction practices. Oliver says this has been extremely valuable to CALA both in terms of their short- and long-term goals.
This is the second consecutive year CALA has collaborated with BE-ST and its scholarship students and so far the journey has been nothing but beneficial and rewarding. It is opportunities like these and the previous mentioned work is why we would highly recommend to our peers in the industry to engage with scholarship programmes like this, and in terms of this partnership in particular is one we hope to continue indefinitely into the future Oliver CooneyGroup Sustainability Analyst, CALA Group
