Dr Mila Duncheva

All Mila's career choices have been driven by a need to create a more sustainable world and help other creatures, including humans. Mila designed a mass timber vertical farm skyscraper with a rewilding plan for the surrounding site, created a multi-factory productivity index for offsite timber construction systems and set up a vegan society at architecture school. After 15 offsite construction factories in 8 countries, 87 days onsite and analysed conversations with 114 people, Mila became Dr Duncheva Chartered Construction Manager. She set the offsite innovation agenda in the public sector in sector economic analysis, skills, circular economy, architecture, architectural technology, engineering, decision-making tools, carbon auditing, net zero procurement metrics and more. Mila is now proudly growing the UK mass timber market to decrease carbon and increase productivity, and chair of the Built Environment Change Makers.
