Shaping Scotland’s Retrofit Knowledge Hub

£0.00

At BE-ST Fest 2024 we hosted a workshop with the simple question of 'how can Retrofit Scotland best support the sector to thrive?'

A key theme that emerged from participants was the need for an independent knowledge hub. A space to share the successes and lessons learned from live retrofit projects. Such a hub would enable the sector to learn from challenges, avoid repeated mistakes, and ensure the most effective solutions for Scotland’s buildings.

In partnership with The Centre for Net Zero High Density Buildings (CeNZ-HighDB), Retrofit Scotland will be relaunching a case study library and knowledge hub, building on the rich work already done and looking ahead to the next phase of innovation.

Join us for a collaborative workshop led by CeNZ-HighDB partners, focused on shaping this knowledge hub of retrofit case studies

In the session we will:

  • Celebrate key projects from Retrofit Scotland’s first phase (2013–2016).

  • Invite participants to contribute to a live review of more recent retrofit case studies.

  • Shape the next phase of the RS Knowledge Hub, including updated reporting frameworks and an open call for continuous submissions.

Whether you’re a practitioner, policymaker, academic or housing leader - your insight can help make Scotland’s retrofit journey visible, measurable, and impactful.

Date: 6th November

Time: 13.30-14.30

Location: Paisley Town Hall
