Join us for an introduction to new guidance, and proposals for new legislation in Scotland, that will introduce new requirements for the construction industry when they are engaged in building warrant projects.

We will be joined by Dr Barbara Lane, chair of the Building Safety Regulator’s Building Advisory Committee who will talk about her experience with compliance, particularly in light of the Grenfell Tower where she was an expert witness. The Building Standards Division will provide an overview of the proposed legislation and then we will hear from a panel made up of an early adopters group who have piloted the new approach on live sites.
