This session will examine the policy and industry frameworks required to embed Passivhaus Equivalent Standard Scotland, exploring both the opportunities and barriers to adoption. Discussion will include a comparison of the emerging Scottish equivalent standard with approaches in England and Ireland, considering implications for regulation, procurement, skills, and the construction supply chain. The session will provide insights into how policy and industry can work together to create the conditions for mainstreaming Passivhaus in new developments.
