From Pilot to Portfolio: Financing Retrofit at Scale
Scotland is at a critical juncture in scaling retrofit. With the Heat in Buildings Bill and Warm Homes Plan shaping the policy landscape over the next 12 months, the challenge is moving from vision to delivery and from one-off pilots to investable portfolios that can unlock the investment required to tackle the scale of the challenge.
This panel will explore how retrofit can move beyond isolated pilots to become financeable, scalable programmes. Through case studies, we’ll examine approaches ranging from replicating single projects, to managing portfolios, to enabling delivery at a city-wide scale.
Expect practical insights, candid reflections on barriers, and clear direction on the next steps required to finance Scotland’s retrofit revolution.
Chair: Dr Gemma Bone Dodds
Panel:
Tara Schmit, Transition Finances Scotland
Angeline Robertson, Hub West Scotland
Ryan Ferrier, Kier
Lizzy Westmacott, ECD Architects
Date: 6th November
Time: 13.30-14.30
Location: Paisley Town Hall
