Early Access: Skills Knowledge Hub & Plan BEE Pathways

The workshop will provide attendees with early access to two key skills initiatives that are helping to shape the future of recruitment, retention and skills development across the construction industry. Participants will receive a first look at the Skills Knowledge Hub (SKH) through its soft launch, alongside an overview of Plan BEE and alternative approaches to net zero built environment education.
The session will also share 2025–2026 research findings from the CeNZ High Density Buildings workstream, focusing on EDI, skills and training, and provide insights into the future skills pathways available to employers and SMEs. Attendees will gain an understanding of the feasibility of adapting Plan BEE in Scotland, explore other innovative net zero education programmes and initiatives, and hear early findings and case studies from CeNZ TWG VI, with opportunities to contribute to future research, roundtables and workshops.
