Ryan has spent nine years working in banking across software testing and software development. Most of that time was spent on the Strategic Account Opening programme, helping modernise the bank's account-opening systems; he then moved into software development. Ryan enjoys kickboxing and football. He is also treasurer of local environmental charity Grow Uddingston.
