Understanding barriers to specifying UK grown timber
We're inviting architects, engineers, contractors, developers and other built environment professionals to take part in this short survey to help understand the barriers to specifying UK grown timber, specifically C16, in projects.
The findings will support the Trust UK C16 Campaign, a collaboration between the UK’s three largest sawmillers - BSW Timber, James Jones & Sons Ltd, and Glennon Brothers - who have come together to promote the increased use of domestically grown and manufactured timber across the UK construction sector.
BE‑ST will not collect any information that can identify you, and we ask that you do not include names, company names, or any other identifying details in open‑text responses. BE‑ST is the data controller for this survey. Responses will be analysed and may be shared in aggregated and anonymised form with partner organisations, including the Trust UK C16 Campaign. Because responses are anonymous and cannot be linked back to individuals, it will not be possible to withdraw your data after submission.
Data will be stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary to support research, policy development, and industry activity within the built environment and construction sector. The information you provide us with may be held on files, both paper and electronic. Information obtained will be used solely for the internal purpose of this research project. For further information regarding the way in which BE-ST may use any personal data you supply, please refer to our Privacy Notice: https://www.be-st.build/privacy-policy
