Timber in Construction 101: Navigating Compliance

Build with authority. Navigate the complexities of the modern regulatory landscape to ensure every timber structure meets the highest standards of safety and compliance.

About this event

Learn how you can address the needs of our post-Grenfell and post-Building Safety Act (BSA) regulatory landscape, whether modern statutory duties or fire safety regulations, and how your project workflows can ensure that safety is designed-in from the outset and evidenced through every stage of the build.

In this free online session on 16 February 2027, we will be joined by an industry expert, together with one of the lead educators from the Timber in Construction Project Team, talking to what best practice actually looks like in the UK when navigating compliance for timber systems.

This session will introduce the key intervention developed by leading built environment experts to help build confidence in the use of timber. It is designed to be introductory, accessible to beginners and professionals, supporting the growth of the use of timber in construction, and fostering a community of practitioners.
